The 2025 Honda Shine series carries forward its legacy as one of India’s most popular commuter bikes by offering updated features, improved emissions compliance, and refreshed styling. Shine 100 – Key Details
The 2025 Honda Shine 100 is launched with an updated engine that now meets OBD2B norms, which helps with emissions control. The bike retains a 98.98cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine, mated to a 4-speed gearbox. It delivers around 7.28 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 8.04 Nm torque at 5,000 rpm.
In terms of looks and build, it gets a new colour scheme (including Black with Orange), revised graphics, blacked-out alloy wheels, an aluminium grab rail, a long single-piece seat and a sleek muffler. The braking is drum brakes at both ends, along with a CBS (Combined Braking System). Suspension works via telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers.
Shine 125 – Upgrades & Features
The Shine 125 2025 model comes with more enhancements. The engine (123.94 cc, single-cylinder, PGM-Fi) is now also OBD2B-compliant, and it includes an idling stop system to improve fuel efficiency. It produces about 10.6 bhp (or approx 10.78 PS / around 7.93 kW) at 7,500 rpm and around 11 Nm torque at 6,000 rpm.
A major feature update is the fully digital instrument cluster, which shows real-time mileage, distance to empty (range), gear position indicator, service due alerts, and an Eco indicator. It also gets a USB Type-C charging port. The rear tyre has been made wider (90mm) to improve stability and grip.

- The Shine 125 starts at ₹84,493 for the drum-brake version, and around ₹89,245 for the variant with a front disc brake.
